WELCOME to the Wichita Metropolitan Music Teachers Association!
We are a professional music teacher organization located in the Wichita, Kansas Metropolitan area that is affiliated with MTNA and KMTA. Our membership is open to any music teacher located in the Wichita area. Our current membership includes teachers of piano, keyboard, violin, viola, voice, clarinet, organ, guitar, flute, choral music, composition, theory, piano pedagogy, technology, computer lab and education.
WMMTA offers many educational programs for teachers and their students. We promote music in the community through Chamber Music Festivals and community events. Programs and workshops are offered to enhance teaching skills for our members. Continuing education information, as well as certification, are available to all members. Students have opportunities of a variety of musical experiences that include recitals, music progressions, festivals, and competitions.
